Reservation Details
The Welsh Mountain Community Center can be rented to families or organizations. Reduced rental rates for non profit organizations are available with proper documentation. Payment of the reservation fee guaranteees the use of the designated facilities only. The reservation does not affect use of the playground equipment (slides, swings, etc.) which is always available to the public.
To request a reservation, please contact the park by calling (717) 354-2624. A form will be mailed to you to fill out and send back.
- To hold reservations, payment must be received in full 30 days before the scheduled activity.
- Reservations made with less than 30 days in advance notice myst be paid within 3 days the reservation request and before the scheduled activity. Dates will not be held without payment.
- Cancellations must be made atleast 14 days in advance to receive a refund. Rental fees on all reservations cancelled less than 3 days in advance will be retained as a donation to the park.
- All rules to the park as stated in the rules section must be followed at all times.
Rules
- The park is open from dawn to dusk. No trespassing after dark, except for authorized events.
- No alcoholic beverages, drugs, fireworks, firearms, or other weapons shall be permitted in the park.
- No vehicular traffic in park except on designated areas.
- Park facilities are for public use when not rented. Only the pavilion, ball field, basketball court, and building can be reserved.
- Fires must be built in grills and attended at all times.
- Place trash in receptacles. (Help keep our costs down by emptying the trash bag from the barrel into the dumpster when your rental period is over. Please place a new trash bag in the barrel, which are located at the bottom inside of the barrel.)
- No cutting, defacing, peeling, writing upon, or destorying or damaging any building property or plants in the park.
- Violators of the rules will be subject to penalty under the Pennsylvania Crimes Code.
